The person of Jesus has many spiritual offices before God. His person is first to be asserted as being fully God, the Second Person of the Trinity. Next, his principal office and focus is as Savior of mankind. This includes his pre-existence, his incarnation, his life, and then his death on the cross and ascension. The next in the time order of things is his second coming (Eschatology), broken into two parts, the Rapture (his return in the air to rapture believers out of the world before the Tribulation), and the formal Second Coming.
